Yeah, it's a bit the wild wild west out there in cryptoland! And people are setting up frauds to try to make advantage of it all, which works even less in its reputation :-D
And !YUP, Solana is going strong and has a lot of good use these days. It's especially good for gaming and stuff, or real time applications, since it pretty fast. Unfortunately it has some stability issues sometimes, which is where it looses from Ethereum (on which it is based, to improve it).
