The way many stories start, it was a warm summer's eve... But, although it was a nice and warm sunny day, it officially isn't summer yet, so not totally correct.
Anyway, on that nice evening, I had to go pick up the boys from their studentjobs, which is is located in a rather rural part of the city. And as the weather had been dry for a few days in a row already, the grass was laying out to dry on the fields, ready to be collected by the farmers.
Is all that important? Yes, for the farmers it sure is! And yes, for me it is as well! As a drone pilot/photographer, I know that the drying grass provides some great patterns on the field, and from straight above, this can give some really nice results!
I wish I had the Air2s with me, for the better quality in low light, but I can't complain about the achievements of the trusty Mini3Pro either!
As for the timing, I actually wanted to come back there the day after, but one or two hours earlier, to capture the shadows of the patterns in the low, but still strong sunlight, but during the night, the farmer had already collected all the grass, and the fields are all empty again now, waiting for the next assignment.
