Wrapped one project this morning and hit the canal like it owed me clarity. Ten kilometers later, the only thing clearer was the water, mirroring bare trees and skies that couldn’t decide between brooding drama and full-blown existential crisis.

First stretch was peak minimalist melancholy. Trees doing their best Tim Burton impersonation, reflections sharp enough to cut feelings. The kind of walk where you start thinking in slow-motion monologue. Second stretch? Clouds opening just enough to say “Hey, remember light? Lol, not for you.”

Then, nature’s wildcard: a cormorant popped up mid-hunt, fish halfway down the hatch like it was filming a National Geographic mukbang. No hesitation. No chewing. Just pure, unfiltered efficiency. Meanwhile I’m here negotiating with my shoelaces and questioning whether 13k steps counts as personal growth.

One project delivered. One bird with a full stomach. One fish less in the canal. We’re all out here just trying to eat.

Today’s scorecard:
✅ Project done
✅ Walk logged
✅ 13k steps
❌ Enlightenment
💯 Bird with the W

Honestly? He earned it. I’m just trying to keep up.
