Some office days hit harder than others, and today was one of them, back-to-back meetings, high prio tasks, emails flying, phone calls and the clock moving at double speed. Around noon, I finally got 25 minutes of “off time” and had a critical decision to make: eat or move? My body was screaming for food, but my mind knew better, steps would serve me longer.
So out I went, away from the industrial sprawl and into a more inviting landscape. It wasn’t home, but it was peaceful. That short walk gave me just enough energy to power through the rest of the day.
By the time I was heading home, my brain was fried, but the sky had other plans. That sunset? A reminder that movement, no matter how small, always leads to something better. 8,000 steps, 6km covered, and proof that the right choices add up.
