The ads that play on my YouTube channel are all now about programming and learning. Which is funny, sad and helpful. And encouraging...at least it means that I'm spending enough time on schoolwork that the Google AI thinks it can make money off of me by sending up those kind of commercials.
I guess I shouldn't feel too bad about scouring the internet to find tutorials, how-to's and other resources about how to do homeworks and other projects. After all, I am still new to all of this. And programming is a pretty hard concept to learn, even if the logic is straightforward most of the time. Our project this day was to build a calculator. And while I felt a little cheap that I had to rely on a tutorial to help me get the job done, it was a REALLY good tutorial that explained each step and the reasoning behind it.
And yes, I did read that article on how to explain OOP to a 6-year old. It was great! I want more stuff like that. The only problem is shoehorning it into the 1 hour of freetime I have each day.
