I spent some time in the garden yesterday.

img_7856_malo.jpg

Moved and rearranged some stuff.

(Enlargeable)

Worked around trees. Cut and cleaned around.

img_7866_malo.jpg

Picked up the rotting pomegranates from the ground ...

img_7857_malo.jpg

... to clear the place and prepare it for trimming.

img_7855_malo.jpg

When I finished making the tall grass short, a few more pomegranates fell from the tree.

As always, while I was doing things around the garden, the cats were helping. You can see the cat called Palchich in this shot.

img_7860_malo.jpg

The cats were helping and exploring the slightly changed environment. This cat is called Miaucula.

img_5882_malo.jpg

A bit later, when I had to pick something from the trunk of my car ...

(Enlargeable)

... I noticed an insect on the car's left headlight. It was a winged termite. The Reticulitermes speratus.

img_5902_malo.jpg

Not far from there, on the hud of the car, I photographed a winged ant.

img_7869_malo.jpg

The day was dull and cloudy, slightly gloomy as well so light in the house was on.

img_7840_malo.jpg

These leaves fell from the elderberry tree ...

img_7839_malo.jpg

... right into the small white bucket near the outdoor sink. The bucket was filled with rainwater ...

img_7843_malo.jpg

... and soon the cat called Farabuto came for a drink.

(Enlargeable)

Farabuto always uses his paws when drinking.

img_7854_samomalo.jpg

Miaukula was crouched nearby, on the other side of the sink.

(Enlargeable)

Palchich was sneaking up and down the garden fence, trying to find the way to the birds on the elderberry tree.

(Enlargeable)

A bit later Miaukula entered the house like a thief, through the kitchen window. I entered regularly, through the door ... as the first sparse raindrops started to fall.

As always in these posts on HIVE, the photographs are my work.
