In this long exposure shot taken at dawn, you can see a stretch of coastline about ten kilometers from where I live. This is a grasshopper nymph. A pretty big, well-developed nymph that will fairly soon become an adult grasshopper. The name of the species is Anacridium aegyptium. Here you can see a trio of small chimneys on one of the houses in my hometown. After desaturating the picture in Photoshop, I played a bit with various options and decided to include a simple "invert" edit in the post. This portrait of a storefront mannequin was photographed somewhere in the city of Pula. I had only a small, not very good compact camera at my disposal. The picture ended up blurred and far from perfect, but that clumsy result also has its own charm. This silhouette of a tree was photographed in my hometown, not far from my neighborhood, early in the morning. The ghostly silhouette shown in this photograph it's an autoportrait. The camera was on the tripod and I was posing behind the blurred glass. Here you can see one of the windows on the Church of St Agnes, the biggest church in Meduin, my hometown. In this grainy shot taken late in the evening, you can see some chimneys in my neighborhood. Just across the street from my house. Here you can see the sunset through the leaves and branches of the shrubs in Marlera, a stretch of coastline near the village of Liznjan, four or five kilometers from where I live. These reeds were photographed by the side of the road between Medulin and Pula, the nearest city. A couple of kilometers from the suburban neighborhoods of Pula. And that's all for today.
