Like many times before, I was directed vaguely northwards, with no particular place in mind ... ... but, like many times before, the road unconsciously or semi - unconsciously led me to Motovun ... ... so I stopped on the hill with a great, wide view of the town and its surroundings. There was plenty of mist in the valley. A scene like this is very common in every other season ... ... but it was pretty unexpected for the summer. The old town on the top of the hill wasn't affected by this foggy atmosphere, so I took only one shot of it. I kept the focus on the valley below. It was a short scenic stop. Five or then minutes later ... ... I was driving through the outskirts of Motovun, on the road that led me to the valley that you just saw from a distance in this post. I took plenty of photographs, but that's another story ... that will be told this evening, in another post.
The photographs in this post were taken a couple of weeks ago. Early in the morning. On one of my excursions to the northern part of Istra, the peninsula on which I live.
AS ALWAYS HERE ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK.
