Have you guys considered self-hosting some of the infrastructure? It might take a bit of work on finding the exact configuration and robust caching, but to me it seems highly feasible (as I am self-hosting my witness node and some apps). This pathway can dramatically reduce your server costs and at the same time will make Hive more resilient. If you improve upon open-source tooling that enables self-hosting (such as robust caching systems), then other Hive projects can directly benefit from this work and go for self-hosting, too.
