Hello, this is borg123. For this week's contest, I played Dieterich Buxtehude's "Wie Schon leuchtet der Morgenstern" BuxWV 223. It's a charming and frivolous piece with many unique "Buxtehudian" improvisation qualities. I especially enjoyed hearing and performing a plethora of different musical ideas masterfully exposed in every verse (or variation) of the piece. Hope you enjoy this performance as well!
