It's alright but I would say try replaying.

I have. It seems a bit less than straightforward because if you just try to replay @someguy 's Dockerfile (or at least when I did) I ran into some compilation/environment issues. They are likely trivial but may take awhile to resolve.

My point here is, it may be best to use some sort of a common base for modifications. Because if Hive.io maintains one and @someguy maintains another, this is asking for divergence, downstream compatibility issues, etc.
