He is a political prisoner for sure but best I can tell he was actually involved in the murder of a federal agent. Now the agents were certainly unjustly harassing the local Native population and being abusive to at times I am sure - but I am not sure it is the same as the Williams' case where the man had nothing to do with the situation, best we can tell.
