Crypto currency technology is making inroads in ways too many to list. When we get news that we get today it helps to remember that a mere few years ago various financial experts were mocking crypto as a "fad" that would soon fade into obscurity. Strangely, we no longer here much from these experts on the subject... but this is an aside.
At this point, here's a couple of recent reports. Blackrock, Fidelity and a few other major financial firms are investing 400 million USD into a fundraising round of Circle Internet Financial, the issuer of USDC. Of course, for the firms with trillions of dollars - tens of trillions, most likely - under management 400 million is chum change - but one most note that these titans don't make investments they view as hopeless. So this may be fad, but big players in finance seem not to view it this way.
In other news, the town of Sorradino, Santa Fe province, Argentina is setting up a crypto mining operation to raise funds for an upgrade to its local rail system and for other local needs. That's the world we live in - computer cycles translates into wealth in so many ways.
This is it for now - just a few more developments that contribute to the big picture emerging before our eyes.
