Soaking Up the Last of the Summer Sun ☀️

This Wednesday, our family took (another) trip to the beach! ⛱️ The end of August has been greeting us with some cooler, cloudy weather, so we were all waiting for a day when it wouldn't rain. Thankfully, it didn't today, and we all got to enjoy some much needed sun 😎

(My mother was responsible for capturing most of today's shots 📸 As you will soon see, she managed to get some great expressions of our youngest daughter 😂)

(It felt wonderful to be out in the water. Surprisingly, it was not ice cold this time, despite the cooler weather! 🙏 We all had so much fun!)

(Later on, our oldest daughter asked us to bury her in the sand. My husband happily obliged 😄 She thought it was great!)

(Again, thank you to my mother, the amazing photographer -- she's always catching my good side! 😂 I was enjoying a piece of strawberry cake that I had baked earlier today)

(Having been buried herself, our oldest daughter went on to bury one of her Barbies in the sand 😂)

(Ultimately, this was the main thing that I took away from today's trip: my youngest daughter and I share the same face 😄 Here we are, making the same facial expression!)

It was a wonderful day, and our daughters loved being able to spend time at the beach AND with grandma! 😀 The girls love being able to see my mom -- and I do, too! Thank you for checking out this Wednesday Walk. I hope you enjoy the rest of the week as well! 🙏
