Hello everyone, and happy Friday!~ ๐๐ With Halloween having just passed us by, I wanted to share some of the family photos that we took in order to celebrate the season. Please, enjoy ๐โโ๏ธ
I told our two young girls that this would be our last year celebrating Halloween -- we are Christian and have recently experienced the conviction of the Holy Spirit ๐ However, because this year had already been promised to them in advance, we let them know they could still pick out their costumes...
This year, the girls wanted to be KPop Demon Hunters! ๐ฉโ๐ค For anyone unfamiliar, it is a VERY popular kids' movie that came out last year; it is about KPop singers who are secretly demon hunters, and together they help keep the world safe! ๐ โโ๏ธโค๏ธ I am attaching a reference photo, only so that you can see the similarities between costumes:
Our oldest daughter has been obsessed with the movie since it was first released, and by default, her sister has become involved in the obsession as well ๐ Needless to say, they were both very happy with their outfits!
For their photos, we took the girls out to their very own stage! ๐คฉ Out by a local park, there is a band shell that our city uses for performances and events. Since it wasn't in use, we decided to let them run up and start performing ๐
Our oldest daughter is the "leader" -- we like to call her Kiva the Diva ๐ -- and she certainly lived up to her nickname that day! She immediately began performing the song Golden while her sister ran laps around her ๐
They had a wonderful time (and even received a few watchers! ๐).
After their performance, we also shot some quick ones of myself ๐ While it may be Halloween, I am entering my third trimester of pregnancy, and so we wanted to do a small maternity photoshoot. I am about 7 months now, so we plan on doing another photoshoot in the future.
