The daily quest done, the usual suspects are the reward. I kinda like using Sea Monster, while I had no such use for Hobgoblin. Yet, I bought another one at Level 3 just in case :)
I never played the card games until SteemMonsters and it shows. Today I had to spend 20 minutes after the failed daily quest yesterday. In total it took me twenty plays to finish a bloody daily quest with one of my strongest cards.
And no, the players against whom I played didn't (for the most part) had better cards, but the knew how to use even the weaker cards than mine to beat me time and again.
Now, where do you start trying to improve your game?
