Why is it so hard to buy or purchase bitcoin in the uk.
I’ve been investing in bitcoin now for about 6 months, ever since I created my first bitcoin wallet on Blockchain, there after I have struggled with banks, debit/credit cards etc. trying to buy bitcoin to put in my wallet.
My bank seems fine, if I purchase everyday mundane stuff however, as soon as I go to buy Bitcoin, theres always a problem.
Mostly, I experience problem with bank cards issuing bank advising me to contact them
I’ve done this many times now however, it still happens.
Blockchain has a feature where you could easily buy Bitcoin using a 3rd party web site ‘Coininify’ but now that option too has been removed from my blockchain hot wallet.
I don’t have Paypal either and I am loathe to go to web site that want me to verify my details with selfies of me and my government approved ID documents.
Now my only alternative to buying bitcoin and other alt coins is to go to shop luckily not to far from where I live and it’s the only one around that has a bitcoin ATM however, they charge from 6 – 10% in transaction fees.
If anyone has other ways or alternative methods on how to buy and purchase bitcoin and other crypto currencies please do reply.
