Hi Splinterlanders, I am really exctited about the new reward cards and want to write some posts about them as they come out of loot chests. I got my first summoner on one of my alt accounts today, Franz Ruffmane. He has +1 shield and the conscript ability.
I was keen to try him out and during his second battle I was able to put together a nice life team for him to create havoc in ranked battle (can't wait to test him with two gladiators in the next brawl!!).
I lined Franz up with two tanks to provide plenty of protection to Captain Katie and Dax Paragon at the back to soak up a sneak hit or two. My opponent's Forgotten One and tripple stealth were picked off one by one by my gladiator with multiple bloodlust. Fun to watch!
Franz Ruffmane made a great first impression on me. Previously I was focused mainly on the ability to bring gladiators. The extra shield came in very handy here to give Dax the stats to take an extra sneak hit but moreover to replenish Captain Katie's shield with every bloodlust boost. The extra shield basically won the battle. I am looking forward to experimenting some more with my new summoner!
