Police arrested BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia's adviser Taimur Alam Khandker in a case filed with the Explosive Control Act. On Tuesday, he was arrested from the Chandamari area of Narayanganj city on Monday.
District Superintendent of Police Motiar Rahman said a case was filed against Taimur Alam Khandker on January 5, 2015 in connection with the violation of cocktail blast and vandalism in Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station. There was also an arrest warrant against him.
