Personally, I believe life is a massive bell curve whereby most people are within that middle. I always used to tell my friends in Uni that I have been saved so many times by the bell curve. I always made sure I was at least in the middle of that pack, not so that I didn't stand out, but more so that I didn't fail :D
As you can tell my approach to Uni was to get through with minimal the most efficient effort and truly appreciate what Uni life has to offer. Having fun and partying is one thing, but it's getting to experience new things and daring to try cos once you enter the workforce, it's a whole new ballgame. That's the way I try to approach life as well, at least I try. Get through all the regular stuff as quick as possible so there is more time for the fun stuff, the experiences.
Now that I have written this down, I actually don't know how to link it to your article. But thanks for the opportunity to reflect.
