Ah....the world we live in nowadays and the reflections of middle-aged men (myself included). I now know how my dad felt when he used to lament to me about "kids this days" and "what kind of music is this" when I was younger.

Is it a case of the world is that bad or have we gotten used to a way of living and social norms that the new generation's thinking seems so foreign and "offensive" to us? I am more leaning to the latter but I do see issues in today's culture that is detriment for human civilisation as a whole. One of them is us trying to make everything politically correct. I understand the need to be sensitive to other people, but going about changing Roald Dahl's books to make it less offensive and gender neutral is just too much. We can't all live in a perfect bubble as humans are not perfect.
