Data from BMKG, potentially drought-prone areas are Bireuen, North Aceh, Lhokseumawe, Bener Meriah, East Aceh, and Langsa. This area is prone to drought because since 20 days ago not rain. "The satellite imagery shows that there is no formation of convective clouds or rain clouds in the six districts, so the hot conditions are very intense, due to the maximum exposure of the area, the air temperature is 32-33 degrees Celsius," BMKG Prakirawan Malikussaleh Station Kharendra Muiz told detikcom, Wednesday (14/2/2018). Kharendra predicts drought conditions will continue for up to 10 days ahead. He predicted the weather would be sunny and hot. He also appealed to the public drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
