Something is very wrong in this country when the leading cause of death for people under 50 is drug overdose. The war on drugs is a complete failure and it’s time to find a new way to solve this problem. When people use drugs excessively to the point of death, there is something seriously missing from their life. And I don’t mean absence of life/living.
Jail does not work…many a person has become addicted in jail.
Counseling only works; if, the person really wants to change and their life changes in such a way that drug use has no place.
What’s the answer? For me it was God…what’s the answer for other people? That depends on the person…
What I do know; is that homes without fathers adds to the problem.
I do know; Women rising kid alone is a problem.
I do know; Kids growing to adulthood and then living at their parents’ house because they are debt slaves for the next 30+ years…can’t help.
I do know; LBGT-Q/transgender is not helping…sexual identity is basic for all people, and if you don’t know “what you are” how can you possibly know “who you are”
