This was the obvious outcome. That people consider this platform as guided by market forces, can only be attributed to those blinded by the promise of getting paid to blog.
I've repeated many times that the corporate structure of steemit has made it abundantly clear that there is no real interest in creating a platform that could fulfill the promises made. The actual operation of steemit is now very clearly much closer to what would typically be described as a ponzi scheme (where early investors are paid by future investors), just with an extra layer of abstraction that the investment is in the 'crypto' not the 'business'.
Anyone expecting things to turn around and improve, I'm sorry, but these people are simply fooling themselves.
