It wasn't really made too apparent with the selection of people you came across, but I find it shocking just how many people treat the concept that stating that one position being acceptable is an affront to people who come from a different perspective.

I did have a good laugh about all the people that seemed to be creating their own definitions of what pride means... the word has a very specific dictionary definition.
