One day, a student told his teacher that he wanted to achieve success quickly by taking shortcuts. The teacher smiled gently and explained to him, “Success that comes very quickly is often not permanent.” He gave an example, “A tree that grows very quickly does not have strong roots, so it easily falls when a storm comes.” The student then understood that real success is built with patience, hard work, and time. Shortcuts may seem easy, but they are not permanent. To achieve real success, it is most important to move forward slowly.
