This game you are playing here is called Steem Hop and it is basically that kind of Crossy Road style endless hopper game that looks so simple and cute but it will frustrate you like crazy, you are controlling this little white chicken with a red comb on its head and your only job is to hop forward, left, right and backward without getting hit, and in your video the map is that desert orange road with cars, rivers with floating logs and train tracks, so you have to time everything. The game is on http://steemhop.org and you can play it directly on your browser, it is very light and it does not need any big download, you just tap and the chicken jumps.
What I noticed in your gameplay is exactly how the game works, you start with a score of minus one and you are trying to cross, first you have to dodge those orange and purple blocky cars moving fast on the road, then you have to jump on those brown logs floating on the blue river, if you miss the log you fall inside water and you die, if you stay too long on the log you also get carried off screen, then you have the train track with the big purple train, and you can see your score for TOP 93 at the top left and your coins at the top right with 281, 282 coins, so every hop forward gives you one point, you got up to 11 points in that run which is actually not easy because the cars speed keeps changing.
The most annoying and addictive part of Steem Hop is how easy it is to die, in your first run you got hit immediately and the screen showed that big orange 3D STEEM HOP logo on a blue background and reset to 0, then in the second run you played more carefully and you managed to get 11 hops, you crossed the first road, jumped the river, crossed the second road and even got to the train track before a purple car hit you and you died again, and that is the whole loop, you die, you restart, you try to beat your last score, there is no level ending, it is infinite, you just keep trying to get a higher top score, and that little chicken skin button at the bottom left means you can change characters if you collect enough coins.
Honestly this is one of those games you open when you are bored and you think you will play for like two minutes but you end up spending one hour shouting at your phone because that purple car came out of nowhere, the graphics are very clean and cartoony, orange sand, small green trees, those stacked rocks, everything is low poly and cute, but the timing is the real skill, you have to watch the pattern of the cars, wait for the logs, not panic on the tracks, it looks like a kids game but it needs real focus and reflex, and that is why people keep playing it on http://steemhop.org, it is free, it is fast, and every time you die you feel like you could have done better if you just waited one more second.
