This game is called Steem Hop and if you have played Crossy Road before you will understand it immediately because it is basically the same concept just with a chicken trying to cross endless roads and obstacles, i was playing it on http://steemhop.org and honestly it looks simple from outside but it is very annoying when you start playing. You are controlling that small white chicken with the red comb on its head and your job is just to hop forward, left, right, back, to avoid getting hit by cars and trains and to not fall inside water, it sounds easy but the timing is crazy because the cars are coming nonstop and the logs on the water are moving fast so if you miss one jump you are dead and you have to start again from zero.
In this particular run my score was just somehow moving from -2 to like 18 and i was trying to collect those coins that were floating on the road, i think my highest coin count was around 258 and it was stuck there for long because i was focusing more on not dying than picking coins. You can see the map is like a desert with some small trees and rocks, then the roads with purple and orange cars moving left and right, then there is the train track with the red and white barrier, and then there is the water part with the brown logs you have to jump on, if you stay too long on one spot the eagle or something will come and carry you, so you have to keep moving forward no matter what, that pressure is what makes you make mistake.
The part that pained me most in this clip is where i died twice almost the same way, first time i was at 18 i think and i tried to rush to cross the road when the purple car was already close, the chicken just got hit and the game showed that big STEEM HOP logo on blue background which means game over, then i restarted again and started from -1, -2, i was just trying to build momentum again but the cars were too many, sometimes two purple cars and orange cars are coming at the same time so you need to wait like one second before you jump, but if you wait too long you will also get caught. The controls are just tap to move but your timing has to be perfect, you cannot just be pressing anyhow.
Overall this Steem Hop is one of those games that looks like a child game but it can keep you playing for hours because you always want to beat your top score, mine was showing TOP 93 so i have not even done much, the game is addictive because every time you die you feel like ah i could have jumped earlier, let me try again, and you restart instantly. It is good for passing time, it does not need any big tutorial, you just open http://steemhop.org and start hopping, but if you are not patient you will keep dying on like score 2 or 3 because the traffic does not stop for you, you have to learn the pattern of the cars and the logs.
