Bro segment 3 of Johnny Trigger Level 612 almost broke me. I had already cleared the first two parts and thought I was good, but this part is just pure chaos. You drop down from the platform and immediately there’s a laser coming from the top right, sweeping across the whole room. Then there’s a guy on the ground by the green crate and another one up on the platform shooting down at you. I tried to rush it the first time and got melted instantly. The timing is so tight because you have to jump, shoot the laser emitter, land, and take out the guy on the crate before the guy above drops on you. I failed like 3 times right here and every time it just says “LEVEL 612 FAILED” and sends you back to the start. So annoying.
The worst part is the laser. It’s not just one, it’s two red beams that cross each other and if you touch them you’re dead. I kept trying to jump over them while shooting and I’d either miss the shot or land right in the laser. Then to make it worse there’s a second enemy that spawns on the platform after you deal with the first one. So you’re mid-air, trying to aim, and bullets are coming from above and below. I remember one run I actually shot the laser box, dropped down, headshotted the crate guy, and then the platform guy got me with one shot because I didn’t move fast enough. That’s when I paused the game and just stared at my screen for 10 seconds.
What finally worked was just slowing down and playing it safe. I waited on the edge of the platform, peeked out, and shot the red laser emitter hanging from the crane first. That “PEW” and the explosion sound is so satisfying when it finally works. Then I dropped down instead of jumping straight in, rolled behind the green crate for cover, and took out the ground guy. As soon as he was down I immediately looked up because the other dude on the platform was already aiming. I had to jump and get a headshot mid-air or he would laser me. The first time I did it clean I actually screamed “YES” because I was so stressed.
After that it was just the gun shop and the end screen, but honestly getting through segment 3 felt like beating the whole level. My hands were sweating and my heart was racing because one wrong move and you’re restarting. Level 612 is supposed to be mid-game but this part feels like a boss fight. I got the 3 stars, 8 enemies taken down, and unlocked a new outfit, but the real reward was just not having to see that laser again. If you’re stuck on this part, don’t rush it. Kill the laser first, use the crate, and don’t jump until you’re ready to shoot. Trust me it’s worth it when you finally see “LEVEL 612 COMPLETED”.
