Total number of fighters mentioned is seventy-nine. Thirty-nine fighters got at least mentioned twice.
The results were a surprise to me. I did expect Dustin Poirier somewhere in the upper ranks. A tie with Gaethje for the most mentioned was unexpected.
I would have guessed Adesanya and Volkanovski on top. They are very busy and always draw a crowd.
The high ranking of Strickland can at least partly be explained by his frequent appearances on Helen’s and Schmo’s interviews. He is also one of the busier fighters. When Helen poses that question, a large contingency of her followers will obviously mention somebody who they have been exposed to often.
Yair Rodriguez seems to be gaining recognition.
A surprise was the rather low number of mentions for Kevin Holland. He is outspoken, fights frequently and delivers action.
The replies considered the question (not a given on Elon’s Titter) and mostly named fighters that have had fights recently. No mentions for the usual suspects and retired legends.
