A city famous for its monuments, especially churches and monasteries over five hundred years old. Famous for the building of the national theater, considered among the most beautiful in the world. Famous for the Palace of Culture, a beautiful building that shines especially at night!
Beyond all these attractions, my main pleasure was coffee. I discovered a cafe called Coffee Story! Almost every day, in the morning before work or on the weekend, we spent pleasant hours in this place.
Coffee is a pleasure and a pretext ... a search and a relaxation. I've been drinking coffee for decades, like all of us, I think. Most of the time I would make my own coffee at home. In recent years, especially this year I noticed multiply cafes. It was enough to drink a first coffee in Coffee Story! I do not like the coffee I make at home, I became addicted to cappuccino made by specialists.
The truth is that this cappuccino is not only very tasty but has almost become a work of art. The ephemeral work of art.
An ephemeral work of art that only lives until we finish sipping coffee from the cup.
This little cafe called Coffee Story is not at all spectacular and modern. But it is warm and friendly, arranged with taste and refinement by the wife of the owner. Good music is heard permanently, deafeningly so as not to disrupt customer discussions.
Coffee lovers
Coffee lovers are generally young people. The city is a university center and also an important place for IT specialists, who are mostly young people. These are the main clients. Plus some old people like me.
For many, coffee is still associated with tobacco. They prefer to smoke a cigarette in their coffee mug. Fortunately, this is no longer allowed in the cafe but there are solutions for everyone.
The bench in front of the cafe ...
Not only the quality of the coffee that is imported from verified producers from all over the world, which is fried and ground in the store to be as fresh in our cups. Not only the price more than decent. The employer and the employees are passionate and dedicated to their work and through their behavior they have managed to retain most of their clients. I consider myself and received as a friend in this cafe. In the first photo is the boss, I don't say which of them is and in the second is the best barista, with whom I became friends.
Almost every morning we drink coffee here. Most of the time we even have breakfast, that is a croissant. At first I was reading the menu, but now we know the point. We order croissant and coffee with milk. They are cheap, in our opinion, especially if we think about quality. The coffee costs $1.75 a cup and the croissant $1.25. We can also buy coffee beans or ground coffee that cost, on average $40 a kilogram. We buy much less.
Of course we have to wait a little until the coffees are done but we are not bored, the smartphone is also a help.
A single coffee is not enough, of course. And not a single croissant. They are so tasty! We repeat the order.
This is my review for Coffe Story. A place because of which I love the city where I live most. My review is very personal and I hope I can play exactly how I perceive this cafe. I also hope that I awoke at least one man's desire to drink one coffee in Iasi, Romania.
