I like to call it a walk. Whatever need I have somewhere in the city I live in, to go there, it's for me another walk.
In general, we choose good weather when we go for a walk, but when it's time to do something, it doesn't matter if it's snowing or raining.
This is how I linked a need, the need to buy some plant treatments, with a trip to the center of Bucharest.

The smallest park in Bucharest. Coltea Park!
The city center is very crowded with few open spaces and a park there could only be very small.
It is not a park for long walks but more for resting.
There is a round, paved central area, and a small green area all around, with benches and a monument, a violin!

Her large sculpture, Violino Spaccato, has been on permanent display in Coltea Park, University Square, Bucharest, since 2009. Other public works are permanently located in Segrate (Milan), in Piazza San Francesco, in Barzio (Lecco), in front of the Comunità Montana building, and in Vieste, in the town hall’s Corte dell’Élite. The beautiful part of the place is that here, next to this monument, musicians and orchestras play classical music, in the summer evenings. That's why the place is built of wood, like an opera stage. Wood is a light and not very resistant material and needs repairs, which is about to happen.
The rain is about to start but you can still sit on a bench.
In a corner at the entrance to the park is a small wooden cross commemorating the December 1989 revolution, when many young people were shot in this place.
Here being a corner of the University Square you can see different parts of it.
Opposite is the Sutu Palace which houses the Bucharest History Museum.

This little park is called Coltea Park and I will tell you why. One side of the park leans against some old buildings. Coltea Church and Coltea Hospital.
It was the first hospital in Bucharest, built on December 14, 1704, on the initiative of the backer Mihai Cantacuzino, to be a hospital for the poor. The organization and operation of the hospital was modeled after the Ospedale di S. Lazzaro e Mendicanti in Venice. Source
This was the walk taken shortly before the rain started. As a novelty, it was a walk that I did alone, which is rare for me.
After I solved the problem, I decided to continue my walk in another important part of the city, Victory Square.
This was the walk in the rain, a rather cold fall rain. A walk for next time...
