Sometimes life forces us to be on the roads. Sometimes this condition is pleasant, especially when we go on vacation. Sometimes we are simply obliged. The fact that now I live 400 km away from the place where I work forces me to be on the roads more often. Roads in Romania, a brief look and exposure for you.
A trip from Bucharest to Iasi, yesterday. I left on Friday to Bucharest, at home, to see our new granddaughter. Ilinca! The one who turned us into grandparents. My wife stayed in Bucharest to take care of our granddaughter and I went alone to Iasi ... 400km.
I confess ... I like to drive quite aggressive but my wife is tempering me. Now that I'm alone I'm trying to beat a record time. That means I will drive faster. At the same time, I have to find a balance because I want to enjoy the scenery. At the beginning of the road, this is not very spectacular, much of the road will be through the plain ...
I hope the road police do not read, I have broken the law to take these pictures. It is forbidden to photograph while walking. I am a man who respects the laws, fears the law. However, I like to break the law when it comes to photography. I don't like the laws that restrict the freedom of photography!
I like to drive and listen to music. Now there are countless facilities, many radio stations or Spotify, so you can choose to listen to your favorite music. The music makes the time spent in the car pass faster and more pleasant, especially when the scenery is quite monotonous. However, I try to show you some special moments that I encountered on the way. For example, carts drawn by horses. I think these are no longer on your roads, in Romania you are still likely to meet something like this. It is not always a pleasure because they are difficult to overcome because of the narrow road and heavy traffic. These carts are not allowed to travel on public roads but they still happen ...
It can also happen to meet on the road agricultural machines that are also a danger and cause time wastage.
The first half of the road offers a similar, plain landscape. Only after I will pass a large river, called Siren, changes will start with small hills and forests. Until then, I'll show you a characteristic work, a bridge that leads nowhere.
Finally, the first half of the trip was made, the bridge over the Siret, an old bridge with the floor, the train passes the floor, appears in front of me. I like this old bridge! In general, I appreciate older buildings more than modern buildings. Older buildings have more heat, they are closer to people.
Beyond the river the landscape slowly begins to change, forests and hills appear from time to time.
In this forest I saw a fruit market, especially apples. It's called the Golden Apple! Good, fresh and cheap apples. This time, because of the rush to reach the destination, I gave up buying fruit.
There is a reason for the speed and speed with which I am heading towards Iasi. I left quite late from Bucharest and threatened to be caught the night before I reached the destination. Iasi is surrounded by seven forested hills and the road passes through the forest. I have difficulty driving at night and in the forest there is a lack of visibility that I do not like. I hope to get over it ... The first signs of the night are already showing.
Fortunately, I passed the forest quickly and still had the light on the way. I had the opportunity to see several villages, animals, and trees in the sunset sun.
One last look at the road, at the beauty of the forest at the beginning of autumn and at the pleasure of the deserted road.
Evening is approaching and there are still several tens of kilometers to Iasi. Sun at sunset, a beautiful view ...
Now is the time to hurry. I profit that I am alone on the road and I press the acceleration. A pleasant feeling of power and freedom!

This run gave results, in less than ten minutes I arrived in the city, in Iasi! Glad I got along well.
