On the morning of March 11, that is, early Thursday morning, immediately after I got out of bed, I looked out the window.
Early in the morning
I waited this morning, I can't pretend I didn't know what was going to happen. The forecast had already announced that it would snow, so I was advised. I waited anxiously this morning for the idea that what was expected would not happen. It happens many times, that's why the forecast is also called "probable time"! Not because the event does not happen, it almost always happens but, often, it does not happen even at the hours when it is announced. Nature wants to show us that it has the power to do what it wants and when it wants, we humans just find out.
I'm going back to my window. This time the forecast was as accurate as possible. Although I already felt like Spring, beyond the window it was true winter. The peak, more winter than it was in the middle of winter!
That's right, this year we had an atypical winter, warm and with very little snow. It started late and ended early. Now she has taken revenge. I wanted to go outside to see what happened to the fooled flowers of early spring. And here I had a small obstacle, snow in my shoes ...
Of course, that didn't stop me, it only delayed the exit a bit.
The flowers, on the other hand, were no longer visible, the snow carpet settled over them. I was left with the hope that the damage would not be significant.
Despite all the worries about the fate of the flowers, I couldn't help but admire the beauty of the snow. The beauty of the immaculate snow in the garden and on the trees.
The beautiful and fragile spring flowers, the heralds of spring, are here, somewhere under the snow.
Instead, roses are strong and I don't think they will be affected too much.
This is what happened with this short and intense winter in mid-March. I liked.
The decorations in the yard, decorations for the warm part of the year, prematurely placed in the garden, are now waiting for the sun to get rid of the snow.
One day before!
The day before, my little garden was quiet and unaware of what was going to happen. The heat of the last days made the flowers hurry with the flowering and the joy of starting a new life. Because spring means rebirth, everyone knows that. The flowers could only see well before, just as we humans forget that there are a lot of dangers waiting for us around the corners. That was my yard the day before.
Everything looks like a spring already dominating my garden. Although I remember that in the past it snowed in April and even in May, now I didn't think it could be the same. We have to take into account our own statistics and experience, but when you feel good you have the impression that this will be eternal. Cruel reality always proves that this is not the case!
A day later!
Luckily, such winter episodes in the spring, even if sometimes violent, do not have power in the long run. In a few days, they lose the fight with the heat of the sun and everything returns to normal. Unfortunately, the small plants and flowers come out quite wrinkled from this experience.
Nature and life always win! The flowers slowly raised their heads to the sun. We have to believe that. Now it's spring's turn to win, to my delight. Because spring is the first step towards summer that I am waiting for.
Fortunately, this winter episode passed quickly. Now the experience makes me wonder if they will repeat themselves or spring is finally the new season.
