Hello Gods Unchained community,
in this weekend I was able to get 13 wins in Twilight/Midnight Shadow, and I ended up getting 3 Epic/2 MJ packs. The matchmaking was good for me and I mostly had decks that were cheap. Although I wasn't able to get to Auric Gold, overall I am pretty happy with the results.
This is the deck that I have played during WR. It's a cheap fast deck with several Board Buffs.
I also encountered a $1800 deck, though I won by some luck.
Now, let's move on to the gameplay vids.
Gameplay #1
This game is against Aggro Nature, but it goes until 7 Mana. It's a close game.
At the mulligan, I don't get a really good card except Holy Writ. At 1 Mana, I don't play anything. At 2 Mana, I play some creatures. My opponent goes wide. At 3 Mana, I play Holy Writ. My opponent plays Moonlight Charm even though I have relic removal in play. At 4 Mana, I go face for some damage. At 5 Mana, I'm able to clear the Frontline and develop my board. At 5.5 Mana, I use Chaining of the Gods but my creatures have low health. At 6 Mana, I get enough favor for Rune of Sight, and I draw Holy Writ. At 6.5 Mana, both me and my opponent have a full board, but I and low on health. At 7 Mana, I finally drew Asterius. After clearing their board, I am able to win.
Gameplay #2
This game is against Control War, and it's the deck that is really expensive.
I forgot to record the earlier part, so the video starts at 5.5 Mana. My opponent clears some of my creatures, but I use the second Protective Benediction to give +1 Armor and Frontline. At this point, Denholm can't be targeted by my opponent (having 2 Armor/hidden/protected) At 6 Mana, I use Radiant Dawn and attack. At 6.5 Mana, I clear their Frontline, and I'm able to get the Greedy Blessing(if you have 30 or more favor, at the start of your turn draw 2 cards). My opponent is down to 10 health, but they use Ember Oni to heal up at 7 Mana. I use creatures that are burning to clear the ember oni. At 7.3 Mana, I have enough damage after I use radiant dawn, and I win the game.
Gameplay #3
This gameplay is a stable win against Control Light.
In general, my opponent is able to reduce my creature's strength but I use my board buff to gain more strength.
And that's all for this week! Thanks for reading this post!
