Youtuber Copper Pitch reports approximately one month away if you go off what they did for divine order. That would give us until April 11-18th roughly for a release date. At this time or before, divine order will be locked and no longer able to be changed. So is this the time to be investing in divine order cards? Let us take a look below examining cards from trial of the gods and see what they did shortly after divine order release. I will be looking at low cost cards as this may be a good comparison to the low cost cards in divine order currently.
Looking at the twelve cheapest cards on token trove right now for trial of the gods, all of these cards have maintained value or gone up since last april when divine order came out. These cards have seen ebs and flows in value during that time due to core set refreshes as well as changing meta. This can be expected for most cards in this game. The important thing is that you lost zero money on these cards if you invested one year ago. Along the way, you could have turned a nice profit if selling at the time when the price was high which again happens fairly often.
Now let us examine the legendary cards for trial of the gods. These have followed a very similar trend maintaining value over time while all went up around September and October. I was not playing at this time so I am not sure what happened there but shows again that they were a relatively safe investment.
Overall, I think low cost divine order cards are a pretty safe investment. They appear to be at a floor and can only go up from here. The catalyst for increasing in value is changing meta as core sets change as well as the new expansion rolls out. Also, as the game transitions to mobile friendly, there will hopefully be an increase in overall players making these cards more scarce and only available on the secondary market.
