In this article, we will examine a battle showing off the supply runner and how great of a card it is. The supply runner is the only silver league card to give swiftness making it very unique for this league and silver league tournaments. Let us look at the card and then we will take a closer look at the battle using him.

The fact this card is a neutral card is a great asset allowing you to play it with any splinter. 2 ranged damage for six mana is not anything special however adding the swiftness as well as having four speed makes this card go to the next level. Pairing this with quix and other slow monsters allows you to take over the match especially in blast rulesets and opportunity rulesets where speed if very important. I also am looking forward to building up my general sloan summoner to get this card to play with him and bump up to three range damage along with the swiftness. Now we will breakdown the battle and see how the supply runner turned the tide of the match. Matchup: Round 1

I find blast ruleset as usually a speed game where the monsters that hit first usually win. Due to this, quix and supply runner were a great combo. I also added a creeping ooze to further slow my opponents down. The djinn oshannus is a high speed monster with phase making it a miss target for all damage types which is why I picked it as my tank. Spreading my damage out the rest of the way was a bit of a mistake but I wanted to have high speed monsters which the bandit and deeplurker bring. My opponent brought an ooze to slow me down which was smart as well as high speed and damage monsters. Let us see how it plays out!

Round 2

Not looking good for me going through the first round as my oshannus only got one miss and my bandit was eliminated. His monsters are all still going strong and the shields from kelya are proving to be annoying. Hopefully round two does a better job for me.

Round 3

5.jpg

It is still not going as planned for me as there were no misses on my oshannus in round 2 and my deeplurker continues to take damage in the backline. Taking away his ooze was helpful to increase the dodge chance for my oshannus so we will see if that plays out in the next round.

Round 4

6.jpg

Even with a 30% chance miss chance for his axemaster, my opponent continues to land his hits eliminating my deeplurker. However, the speed buff from the supply runner and slow from quix and ooze allow me to fire first finishing off his main damage dealers in round 4.

Splintertools had this matchup at a 100% win rate for me so speed really was the difference even without the misses from my oshannus. I hope you enjoyed this recap on the use of the supply runner and please upvote or comment on any other strategies you like to use with him.
