In this post, we have three affordable legendary cards that can really take your deck to the next level. These cards are all under 5 dollars currently and offer a great play style as well as investment opportunity.
Zombie Death: Eva, Baroness of Death (50%)
Eva is a card I have seen in most death decks over the course of my nine months playing the game. Whether it be zombie death or sleep death decks, this card finds a useful place given the mana cost and utility. Death often wants to get to outlast it's opponent to the end game and this card allows that by using zombies to leech health as well as drawing cards such as ragnarok to clear the board. Given the use of eva with both strategies, this card seems like a good buy at the current price of $3.50. Previous all time highs for this card are around 20 dollars which seems to be very likely in the not too distant future.
2. Control War: Grand Hall (49.5%)
The grand hall card saw significant play a month or so ago with control war gaining some steam after the new core set refresh. It has taken a step back recently however I believe it is unique in regards to other war cards. Leech is not used in war much outside of nokkvi pillager. The added benefit of heal allows for the intense damage to take over and compete against other aggro decks as well as mid range. Currently sitting at $4, this card saw all time highs in the 30 dollar range back in january. Another card that can really turn the tide for a control war deck.
3. Mid range nature: Silkspite (48.1%)
The last card on the list is the silkspite. A mortal judgement card that has still not seen it's time in the limelight but I think has some potential. Nature has alot of regen cards especially in low mana such as marsh walker and black jag. Things could really spiral out of control with this card on the board along with those cards mentioned. The deadly noxious arachne eliminates any big frontline creatures such as a guild enforce with ease allowing for heavy damage to your opponent's face. The card is priced at $3 right now however may even see some more downward pressure given the increased supply over time and mortal cards being in circulation. May be one card you monitor over the next few months and pounce on it closer to two dollars hoping a new meta is not created with this card.
As you can see, deck defining cards can be had for fairly affordable prices especially if you consider the new daily play to earn coming around the corner where you could earn GODS tokens to pay for these cards.
