A Navy Veteran and member of the John Birch Society Art Crino gave an interview back in 2013 with the New American Magazine detailing his time stationed on the Japanese Island of Saipan eventually becoming territory by USA in 1944.
Anyways, Mr. Crino recollects hearing a story about how an 11 year old girl was taking a short cut through the sugar cane fields and happened to be at the same place where Amelia Earhart was killed. This took place in 1937.
The 11 year old girl says she was hiding the whole time during this crazy event. She saw two Japanese marines on a motorcycle with a Caucasian woman that was supposedly blind folded and handcuffed. The 11 year old girl says the woman was told to get off the motorcycle and get on her knees. The next thing that happened was the Caucasian woman was shot by the Japanese Marines one time in the chest and fell backwards falling right into a ditch where she was buried only for a short time.
Eventually she was dug up by military men and burned to ash deliberately destroying any evidence that could lead to Amelia Earhart's location and discovery.
Why was this kept secret from the public?
This all took place around the time leading up to WWII. Also, Mr. Crino mentions that there was a camera attached to Amelia Earhart's plane.
