Wide outage of various SNS services yesterday showed an importance of decentralization. Centralized system may seem to show operating 'efficiencies' based on the traditional metrics. However, centralized system can not only have issues observed yesterday but can be controlled by a concentrated power.
I think decentralized platform would also have it's own issues but at the same time I think the future is in decentralization.
