My 5-Year Old Daughter's Reading Habit In The Morning

A blessed Sunday all.

My daughter is 5 years old and sometimes I worry she plays way too much. What I do, I let her read a few short sentences/poems/ nursery rhymes before she can play. Am I harsh? lol
