I am of the firm opinion that Christmas has no meaning if Christ is extracted from it. It might be fun, or afford you some time with your family, which is certainly a good thing. Perhaps you share gifts and get to enjoy your gifts with the people you love. There's certainly nothing wrong with that. You might even decorate your house with beautiful lights, erect the most gorgeous tree in your neighborhood, and spread oodles of good cheer. All of that is good. But if you don't include Christ in the very holiday named after Him and which was instituted in His honor, all you have is fun activities and a glorious good time. Not much of eternity, which is the most important thing.
Nevertheless, that is one glorious tree!
