The artists need to figure out how to value their work and the future potential streaming rewards are worth to them. Of course you are going to want to get them cheap, but in the grand scheme of things, $1 for potential life time income is nothing. So artists need to look at that and price accordingly. I mean, I have songs out there in the mainstream world that I have sold the publishing and commercial rights for for thousands of dollars. So again, it's how much the artist values their work.
