Generally correct, but the speedup notifications updates won't be visible to users: the speedup is in the time it takes to build the table data (it used to take around 1/2 second per block, loading the api node server more than it should). But this is just a speedup in updates to the table, not the rate at which the data is fetched from the table (that will be the same speed, so no difference in speed).
