You obviously weren't around when Ned/Dan promised that those funds owned by Steemit were going to be used for development and onboarding, not as a personal piggyback (although I guess it was understood that Steemit would keep some as profit from what they charged for their work). Or you would view the entire issue quite differently I suspect.

And, yes, Ned reversed this claim years later and claimed he could do whatever he wanted with the funds, and I suppose that's all you heard. If so, I suppose your indifference might be understandable, albeit wrong.

But please don't assume we're idiots. We just believed a lie. It happens all the time, but since I believe the violation of this promise led to the level of fraud in this case, I don't think it was unreasonable for us to believe the promise would be honored.
