AFAIK no one else has tested operation on WSL2. I wouldn't expect any problem though, unless it is related to IO virtualization, resulting in a slow down of some sort.

You may want to check what nodes you were connecting to and dropping. I.e. do a geo lookup on their ips and see if a lot of them were from alibaba datacenters (when I checked a while ago, that is where many of the steem nodes were located).
