And it says, as you quote above: covid should be reported on the death certificate where the diseases caused or is assumed to have caused or contributed to death. Not that all people who have covid and die should be called a covid death. Only ones where covid is believed to be part of the reason for the death. And I went further in my research and found that most of these deaths were generally related to respiratory symptoms which are clearly linked to having covid.
