I don't really think every curator needs to "catch" every big post at the maximal reward period. For those who are searching for good posts, a two hour window should be enough to find some good posts (or else we just need to get more posters and better ways to find good posts, which is also something that we should work on).

I do think there's a point to having some extra incentive for people who go out of their way to find new posts to vote on, instead of just voting the ones on trending.
