RE: Bye Hive
Eventually I decided that her main issue was that she was no longer able to earn as much from her posts, instead of a real concern for the platform. She's certainly not the first person to get upset when

RE: Delegations added to hive wallet !
Glad you like the feature, but my team can't take credit, it was one of the other hive.blog devs. Glancing at the repo, looks like it was old, unfinished work by Steemit guy (Iain Maitland) that was finished

RE: Idea: Tipping balance
I think it's a great idea. To tip Hive and HBD would require blockchain-level changes, so I'll talk to some of our other devs to see how much trouble it would be to implement.

Well, it's certainly still relevant, as posts don't last more than a few days on trending.

I'm not even sure which "small group" you're referring to. Do you mean the devs that work for my company? Or other devs? I don't actually usually write about what other devs are doing, instead

BTW, there was also a recently created issue in gitlab related to this topic:

RE: The Myth of Slack
I've been encouraging such on-chain conversations to take place in a community called "Hive Improvement", so that they are easy to find. Which as a side note, is where this current post is located.

I don't appreciate your continued mischaracterization of my statements. I didn't say "that adoption didn't matter". I think I've been fairly clear, but I'll try to say it another way: It's not

It could be we're using two different definitions of manual test. When I was referring to manual tests, I was referring to tests that are manually done by directly entering inputs to the software, either

RE: A "quick" update on the progress of Eclipse (Hive Hardfork 24 software)
All our testers are coders (i.e. devs), because the tests we use are pretty much all "automated tests" driven by software which has to be coded. Manual testing is useful for testing a user interface

You're 100% correct and its for reasons like this that communities were created. They allow people to create moderated communities, if they're someone that wants to create a curated space, either to keep

RE: A "quick" update on the progress of Eclipse (Hive Hardfork 24 software)
To be honest, I do mind doing it here, since it's unrelated to my post, and I prefer comments on my posts to relate to the post. But I think this just points to a problem with the platform as it stands

Your reasoning is sound, but I haven't inspected the code yet to say exactly how it behaves. The 2000 day period and 0.05% is what he relayed to me. Maybe it is a fixed amount of the current balance, as

RE: Hive’s future as a 2nd layer blockchain network
There's two separate forms of consensus in blockchains: 1) consensus about the order in which transactions have occurred and 2) condensus about what rules are valid for the blockchain. But only the first
