He's got an incredibly tough job. We massively overperformed last season and lost some key players over the summer although kept a couple of important players too.

Watching the first 2 games, it looks like we'll struggle for goals. O'Mahony who we got on loan from Brighton looks well off the pace at the moment (although this could be to do with the lack of creativity behind him) and players just aren't linking up very well in possession - often passing into a space that nobody's moved in to or behind them.

At the other end, mistakes have cost us - especially against Lincoln. We should've got a point against Huddersfield at the weekend but we missed a free header from a corner and then 2 minutes later conceded to a corner ourselves. Otherwise, it could've been different.

But there's no getting away from the fact that we're bottom of the league having not scored a goal - which is going to be a big problem for us this season. Time will tell whether Noel's up to the task - I hope that he is otherwise his match worn shirt that's on my wall might decrease in value 📉

But... I don't really care 😆 Dai Yongge's bankrupt every previous club that he's owned so I'm just happy that we still exist!
